Nestled in the woods of Woodstock, NY, Camp Zena offers a fun and engaging experience for children aged 5-14 years. Our days are packed with activities including swimming, tennis, field sports, backyard games, crafts, and nature walks. We also offer swimming and tennis lessons to enhance our camp sessions.
Typical summers include exciting activities like BBQ, Tie Dye, Petting Zoo, Carnival, Science Experiments, and Yoga!
Sara Hermance is the Camp Director at Zena Rec, currently in her final year of college pursuing a degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children began with babysitting in high school and grew through her role as a counselor at Rosendale Day Camp. Sara also substitutes at Rondout Valley Intermediate and Middle School, where she interacts with a range of age groups. Known for her creativity in planning engaging and energetic activities, Sara is dedicated to providing an exceptional and enjoyable experience for all campers at Zena Rec.
